WRECK UMBERTO I
Description
Auxiliary cruiser of the Royal Italian Navy torpedoed August 14, 1917, 800 m east of the island Gallinara front of Albenga.
The wreck, with the hull in wood and iron, is split into two parts distant from each other, lying about 50 meters deep on a sandy bottom and the most 'high is located around 43 mt., Partly overturned and hand resting on one side.
The bow rises to about 12 m from the bottom and you can make a brief foray to visit the lair of a grumpy old man and conger.
The dive because of the depth and low light is reserved for very experienced divers and prepared.
