OPEN WATER DIVER
The PADI Open Water Diver course teaches student divers the foundational knowledge and skills they need to dive with a buddy, independent of supervision.
During this entry level course you'll learn the right techniques and procedures to dive safely and to plan your dive but also choose and care your own scuba dive equipment.
Who can participate?
Anyone is in health, able to swim and with at least 10 years old
What's the course structure?
Five knowledge development segments including quizzes and final exam
Five confined water/ swimming-pool dives meeting the watermanship requirements
Four open water dives in the sea
What's the depth for this certification level?
Children 10/11 years old -12 meters max
Children 12/14 years old -18 meters max with supervision of parents, tutor or professional diver
How long?
The course is based on performance and not on time. The achievement of a benefit is passed on to the next.
